    Here we have a wonderful 2015 vintage S de Siran from Château Siran, produced with grapes from the Margaux region in Bordeaux. A core of Merlot supported by Cabernet Sauvignon grapes gives this earthy, fruity wine its structure having spent a year in oak, with 15% having been aged in new barriques. It pairs rather well with rich, braised dishes.

  • 2018 Antinori Cervaro della Sala

    The name Cervaro comes from the noble family that owned Castello della Sala during the 14th century, Monaldeschi della Cervara. A blend of Chardonnay grapes and a small quantity of Grechetto make a wine that can age over time and represent the elegance and complexity of this unique estate. Cervaro della Sala is one of the first Italian white wines to have malolactic fermentation and aging take place in barriques. The first vintage of Cervaro to be produced was the 1985 vintage.

  • 2017 Prunotto Bansella Nizza Cru

    Grapes were harvested and brought into the cellar for destemming and crushing. Maceration on the skins lasted for a period of 7 days at a temperature no higher than 28 °C (82 °F). After the first racking, both alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation were completed before winter began. The wine was aged for 9 months in small oak barrels, both second and third fill, before bottling.

  • 2016 Antinori Castello della Sala Pinot Nero

    The first vintage to be produced was the 1990 vintage. The wine is made entirely with Pinot Nero grapes and is considered Cervaro’s alter ego: together they represent the two different expressions of Castello della Sala’s complex and refined spirit. Four hectares (10 acres) of Pinot Nero vineyards sit at an altitude of 400 meters (1312 feet) above sea level on calcareous soils rich in fossils with sedimentary sands from the Pliocene epoch.

  • 2003 Antinori Tignanello 3 ltr

    The original Super-Tuscan, Tignanello is produced exclusively from the Tignanello vineyard, a 47 hectares (116 acres) southwest-facing, calcareous rocky-marl and limestone soil plot with tufaceous elements, planted between 1,150 and 1,312 feet above sea level at Antinori’s Santa Cristina Estate. It was the first Sangiovese to be aged in small oak barrels, the first red wine in modern times to use a non-traditional grape variety, Cabernet, in the blend, and among the first red wines made in Chianti with no white grapes. In all three instances, it set the example for a new breed of exceptional top-of-the-line Italian wine.

  • 2013 Antinori Solaia

    The winter of 2013 and the preceding autumn were characterized by above average rainfall and by temperatures which were not particularly cold, with the exception of one week during the month of February when there was heavy snowfall as well. Spring began with a climate which was much like the preceding months, determining important delays in bud burst, but despite this fact the successive phases of flowering and bud set saw normal growth and development.
