Scabrezza is made exclusively from Pinot Bianco grapes. A pleasant, tasty wine with delicate aromas. The label is a tribute to Dante with one of the verses he dedicated to Beatrice in the Divine Comedy. The name Scabrezza is a old term that was used to measure the flow of water in rivers and streams, such as water flow in ancient drainage channels, weirs and clapper bridges that still exist today on the property.
The Serego Alighieri noble family are direct descendants of Dante Alighieri and have been making wine on this estate since 1300. This amarone is relatively new in that light, only 50 years ago the Amarone style was created. This single vineyard Amarone is perhaps the name giver of this category, the vineyard is called Armaron. It is an overwhelming Amarone, but one with finesse and elegance. Much ripened fruit is supported by soft tannins and a very long finish.
Beautiful light color that longs for great moments. In the nose a clean palate of red fruit and flowers. Intense mouth filling with a delicate balance of fruit, clean fresh acidity and friendly sweetness. The acidity, fruit and sweetness leads to a long lingering finish. La Braccesca
La Braccesca, as an estate, extends over a total surface area of over 1255 acres (508 hectares) and consists of two separate vineyard blocks. The historical nucleus is located in Montepulciano with some 254 acres (103 hectares) planted to vines in the finest sub-zones for the production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The second block, planted to Syrah, possesses more than 585 acres (237 hectares) of vineyards and is situated at the foot of the hills which surround the city of Cortona. And it is precisely in this part of the estate that the grapes intended for Bramasole are cultivated.
Tasting Notes:
The 2012 Bramasole shows an intense ruby red color. The nose is struck by the notes of ripe red fruit in excellent balance with the aromas of tobacco and spice. The palate is powerful and supple and with well balanced notes of liquorices and ripe fruit. The finish and aftertaste are soft, long, and persistent.

Bodega Norton was founded in 1895 at the Mendoza River Valley.
